Dress like me...

So I been getting some request to post more model style and I totally agree. Models are not only some of the most beautiful women in the world, but there also known for wearing some of the most beautiful things. Imagine having Karl Largerfeld on your speed dial...must be nice. Well although we may "all" not have the privilege to wear what they wear it still doesn't hurt to use them as inspiration. I took my top three favorite models and tracked down their looks both picture on and off the runway. What I love most about these three ladies are that there under 25.

Chanel Iman
Aside from being a Los Angeles native, what I love most about this lady is her adorable bohemian street style.

Coco Rocha
On the runway she's known for fierce stare and strong walk. But when it comes to her everyday style she can be found in a chic trench or boyfriend blazer.

Sessilee Lopez
Best known for her signature pout, Sessilee is a Philly native who not afraid to play around with hair style's. Her personal style mostly consist of a menswear inspired wardrobe of leather jackets and slacks.

Romantic Nightmare

The show opened to a romantic night time scene as models strut to slow beats of the whimsical background tune. Adjourned in lingerie inspired fringe dresses and a touch of menswear capes and top hats, the clothing help tell a story of a romance. As the beat increased the audience continued in silence as a fur nude embellished sweater and destructed blazer help transition to a more streetwear vibe. As the finale approached, the music changed to Alicia Keys, high socks accompanied with baby doll dresses created a sexy twist to a youthful favorite.

The Color of Style

When it comes to style my busy schedule barely leaves me time to wear anything other than black. But on my less busy days when I have time to play around with colors and fashion, I find myself in love with pastels and bright hues. Oranges, reds, and the most brightest colors of the rainbow always serve as a instant joy of my day. While pastels consisting of pink and baby blue remind me off my girly girl days when I begged my Mother to paint my room bubble gum pink. So after spending a short birthday weekend around town I decided to carry my trusted digital (and no its not pink) with me while I snapped pics of colorful things that inspired me.

Summer Sunset
These first pics I took at local Cheescake Factory. Every time I eat there I love to look up and admire the beautiful paintings. I may not be anywhere near a Greek Chapel, the paintings always make me feel close.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I have really been trying to stay more up to date with international fashion news. So once I saw the colors together I immidately felt that it connected with some runway designs I saw during Dubai fashion week. I love how Dubai designers are not afraid to play around with color. This specific show called furne one show, had their models walk down the runway with crazy deer horns- loved it.

Around the World!!

As i find myself more and more infatuated with international magazines and blogs, I remember about the time I used to think fashion only exist in New York and Paris. But now that im learning more I understand fashion runs from the streets of Milan to the cities in Hong Kong. So after several hours of searching and searching..I found some of the latest fashion news from around the world. Some of the news made me want to fly across the world to see it in person, while other news was down right weird and quirky. But for the most part I can truly say it was nothing less than entertaining. Hope you enjoy (Click to enlarge)!!!

The Dreamers and The Followers

Everybody had to start from somewhere. Yes, even Anna Wintour herself had to sit on the back row of some fashion shows before she was able to own the front. So as my graduation date swiftly approaches, I find myself cherishing the last days of my childhood while scattering together all the pieces needed to begin my adulthood. Although it may be a tad bit weird to officially say Im an "adult" wow, I can truly say that I don't feel scared. In fact im anxious to get a big girl job and best of all get a big girl paycheck :). So as I think about life after all nighters, essays...test...pop...quizes...and all of the others dread full activities that I have spent 19 years of my life doing-j/p. I truly decided to use these days to just live in the moment. Looking at not just the big things that inspire me but all the things that inspire me. Whether its posting a picture of what my beloved Carine Roitfeld wore to a Marc Jacobs show, are ooohhing over the shoes of the girl sitting next to me in class. Im learning that inspiration can be anywhere, and most of the time its in your own backyard. So as a tribute to all my fellow fashion dreamers as well as my those currently living my dreams, I put together these pictures.
